Bluegrass Digital selected to deliver new municipal web platform for Western Cape Government

Following a competitive tender with a number of agencies, Bluegrass Digital was awarded the opportunity by the Western Cape Government to design and develop a new website platform and content management system to be adopted and implemented across all municipalities within the Western Cape.

The Bluegrass team’s extensive experience working in local and global government was a key factor resulting in them being handpicked as digital experts to formulate and execute the framework and final functional specifications for the new website solution.

Bluegrass is currently in the initial planning and UX stages of the project which will see the first selected municipalities go live with their new public websites in 2015. The new platform will be built using Drupal CMS and the Bluegrass Digital team will work closely with key stakeholders within local government to design, build and deploy a new website for each municipality. The team is familiar with the Western Cape Government’s development and various legislative standards, having worked with them previously.
