DaklaPack is a global leader in innovative and sustainable packaging solutions, offering a wide range of products and services for shipping, packaging, and filling. With operations spanning Europe, the USA, and Asia, DaklaPack supports its customers throughout the entire value chain — from production and logistics to IT and data management.

 

DaklaPack’s digital infrastructure was struggling to keep pace with the company’s international growth. Their custom-built CMS, originally launched around 2015, had become outdated and rigid — preventing the business from scaling effectively.

The Result

Bluegrass Digital architected and developed a future-proof eCommerce solution using the Umbraco CMS and Umbraco Commerce stack, hosted on Umbraco Cloud. This ensured a flexible, cloud-native environment with integrated DevOps workflows and ongoing support.

The new solution empowers the marketing team with greater control over site content and product configuration while reducing the need for development intervention. It also consolidates disparate tools into a cohesive, streamlined digital experience.

The first launch of the new eCommerce platform went live for the United States market via daklapack.us, delivering an improved user experience, increased performance, and a scalable architecture ready for international expansion.

With the foundational work complete, additional regional rollouts are planned — ensuring a consistent global brand experience powered by a flexible, enterprise-ready CMS.
