Project Brief
Sanlam Reality is a lifestyle and rewards programme available to a range of Sanlam and Santam clients as well as other participating medical schemes. The loyalty programme required a mobile app to allow members to access their profile and rewards. The app would also provide rich features which would give the ability for members to redeem rewards and make bookings.
As the selected mobile development partner, the project followed an Agile approach using KANBAN to deliver both the iOS and Android mobile apps. React Native was selected as the technology stack with various integrations which were required such as the primary data API, Nu Metro cinema bookings, Uber and a chatbot solution.

The Result
It was a successful project that was a collaboration of a number of different stakeholders to deliver a solution for SA’s no.1 rated loyalty rewards programme in the insurance and medical sector.
The Sanlam Reality app allows users to easily login to access their profile and tier status which includes graphical displays. Users can make use of the app features to redeem offers across wellness, entertainment, travel and personal services.
